Born and raised in the Philippines. Flew in the air and landed in Chicago, IL on July 2008.
Even though I loved watching movies and making home videos when I was a kid, filmmaking isn’t really my first passion. I actually wanted to become a musician. My cousins/family influenced me to make music. They taught me how to play the guitar and since then, I just wanted to become a rockstar! But when I was a freshman at highschool, I did this slideshow/montage of pictures of me and my friends’ gathering at this resort. I pretty much just dropped the pictures into a basic video editing program, put a fun music and some captions and that was it! When I finished, I put it up online for all my friends to see. And they loved it! They were laughing, they were smiling, it was an amazing feeling! The reaction they gave me motivated me create more movies/videos. And here I am now, making more films for everyone else to see and enjoy!!
My ultimate dream is to sit in a movie theater with my friends and family and watch a movie that has my blood and sweat in it. That’s when I know I succeeded.
